University Village Announces Three New Tenants

Riverside, CA 06/29/11 - Three new tenants will open at University Village Shopping Center, located at the Northeast corner of University Avenue and Iowa Boulevard in Riverside. Yoshinoya, Sushi Ya and Lollicup are scheduled to open this summer.

Yoshinoya signed a 5-year lease for the 1,662 square feet located near Ultra Star Cinemas, next to Flame Broiler. Mark Gallucci, NewMark Merrill Companies Senior Leasing Associate, represented the landlord. Yoshinoya's food is a combination of two cultures with traditional Japanese cuisine made to order and served in an American fast food environment.

Sushi Ya signed a 5-year lease for an approximately 3,608 square foot space. Mark Gallucci with NewMark Merrill Companies represented the landlord. The new restaurant, which will be located near Ultra Star Cinemas, offers Japanese cuisine including sushi and sashimi.

Lollicup signed a 5-year lease for the 1,543 square feet located on the pad building on the west side of the center near T-Mobile. Mark Gallucci with NewMark Merrill Companies represented University Village. Lollicup specializes in shaved ice specialty drinks including boba, tea, smoothies and juices.

University Village Shopping Center is a 178,020 square foot outdoor community center. The three new tenants will join Ultra Star Theatres, Starbucks, Fatburger, Rubio's, Quizno's, Service Plus Credit Union and Juice It Up.
